Vision Essence GTG3-Low-Zinc+MZ alternative to the U.S. NEI-NIH formula- contains 25mg zinc (as gluconate). It combines all three macular protective pigments with vitamins C and E to provide antioxidants for the maintenance of eye health. Two tablets taken daily increases macular pigment density to help maintain eyesight in conditions related to sunlight damage, such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Vision Essence Low-Zinc+MZ is for those advised by their eye care professional to take an eye vitamin with zinc. A genetic test to determine zinc compatibility is strongly advised.
